Workday was founded by David Duffield, the former CEO of PeopleSoft, and Aneel Bhusri, the former Chief Strategist of PeopleSoft. Workday Studio is an integrated, Eclipse-based environment that allows clients and third parties to create, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain complex integrations within the Workday Cloud. It is primarily used to create modern integrations involving Workday Web Services (WWS) and various reports.
