Description
Spartacus is a lean, Angular based Javascript storefront for SAP Commerce Cloud. Spartacus talks to SAP Commerce Cloud exclusively through the Commerce OCC APIs. The course illustrates the basic theory behind the core functionality and main concepts of Spartacus Angular based Javascript storefront for SAP Commerce Cloud, and helps participants understand what out-of-the- box is and has to be implemented. This is targeted for Developers, Developer Consultants and Technology Consultants. Participants will see the software demonstrated and will learn to install, configure and customize it to a certain degree. For each area presented in the course, participants will write a “hello world” application. This training focuses on the B2C
Accelerator, and the implementation of a new storefront is the main theme through the entire training. It does not solve project specific problems, but it shows how to tackle most common tasks.

Introduce how Spartacus leverages the SAP Commerce Cloud CMS. In the course, you’ll learn how to configure Spartacus, how Spartacus utilizes the CMS, and how to extend Spartacus utilizing the CMS. Additionally, the course will comprise some significant theoretical concepts around the SAP Commerce Cloud CMS functions and how to best use them with Spartacus.
Prerequisites
Attendees should have deep knowledge of JavaScript, front-end technology and development in general (Ideally, you’re familiar with Angular, or another large JS framework such as React or Vue.js).
